A "never hinged" stamp has original gum as issued by the post office. NH stamps command a higher price because they are scarcer than hinged stamps. Stamps designated "superb" have better centering than "extra fine" stamps. Superb stamps sell for a higher price than "extra fine" stamps. See Mystic's grading standards for details.
