1978-80 Regular Issue Set Features “Midget Size” Stamp
In an effort to reduce production costs, the U.S. Postal Service designed U.S. #1734, picturing the 1877 Indian Head Penny, at a smaller size, so they could print 150 stamps per pane rather than the usual 100. The smaller size never caught on with the public.
Other stamps featured in this set picture the American eagle, medallion roses and windmills. Fill the gaps in your collection – get the set of 10 stamps now and save time and money.
