During the production of the 1982 Ponce de Leon stamps, there was an issue with the perforation process, leaving a portion of several sheets was imperforate, resulting in this scarce error.  It’s a must-have for your collection, and a perfect compliment to the non-error stamp, #2024.

This stamp honors the man known by legend to have searched for the Fountain of Youth. In truth, he conquered Puerto Rico, becoming governor in 1509. He also discovered the Gulf Stream and what he believed to be an island - Florida.
