Get the complete Flags of Our Nation stamp series in one easy step.  Each stamp in the series features the state or territory's flag accompanied by a symbolic "snapshot" of the state. These include common scenes and activities in the state as well as rare wildlife and breathtaking landscapes that are normally associated with the state.
 
Two sets were issued in 2008. The first set features the U.S. flag and the following state and territory flags: Alabama, Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Delaware
 
The second set pictures the flags of District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Kansas.
 
The 2009 set includes these flags: Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, and the U.S. flag with Amber Waves of Grain.
 
The Flags of Our Nation stamps issued in 2010 highlight Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, and the U.S. Flag with Purple Mountains.
 
In 2011, the following states and territories were shown: Northern Marianas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Tennessee.
 
The series was completed in 2012 with the addition of stamps commemorating Texas, Utah, Vermont, the Virgin Islands, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming and a flag paying tribute to our nation's "Fruited Plains."
