Guy Smiley is America's favorite game show host.  In classic game show fashion, he approaches everything with an over-the-top level of excitement and enthusiasm.

Guy is best known for hosting "Here is Your Life," a segment that has honored such objects as tree, a loaf of bread, and a sneaker.  In "The Waiting Game," Guy teaches contestants and children about the importance of patience.  When Cookie Monster appeared on the show, he sat with a cookie in front of him and if he could wait until Guy returned, he'd get two cookies.  In "Make it Fit," we explore different shapes as a contestant tries to find the matching shape in under a minute.

In addition to game shows, Guy has also hosted other Sesame Street events, such as the "Letter of the Day Pageant."  In this pagenat, all the letters compete and have special skills (S can swim, T can tap dance).  After a winner is chosen, Guy sings a song about that letter.  And Guy is known for his singing talent, with such popular songs as "Air" and "They Can't Take That Away From Me."
