Get the 2018 UN International Music Day Sheet Issued by the New York Office
On October 1, 2018, the United Nations Postal Administration issued three miniature stamp sheets (designed by Sergio Baradat) in celebration of International Music Day. This event is held every year and was first established in 1975 by the International Music Council. The council was founded by UNESCO in 1949. International Music Day honors the important role music plays in our everyday lives as well as its ability to bring people together from different walks of life. The stamp sheet issued by the New York office pictures brass instruments.
