Executive Mansion (#990) – Completed in 1801, Irish architect James Hoban designed the 132-room White House.

Supreme Court Building  (#991)– Although the Federal government was moved to Washington, D.C., in 1800, the Supreme Court building was not completed until 1935.

U.S. Capitol Building (#992)– In addition to its use by the United States Congress, the U.S. Capitol Building is a museum of American art and history.

Railroad Engineers of America (#993) – Honors the railroad engineers of America and portrays John Luther (Casey) Jones, who was killed in a train wreck near Vaughn, Mississippi.

Boy Scouts (#995) – This stamp was issued in honor of the Boy Scouts of America, on the occasion of the second National Jamboree at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

California Statehood (#997) – Discovered by the Spanish, California was ceded to the United States in 1848.  Two years, later California became the 31st state to join the Union.
