In 1981, the USPS introduced National Stamp Collecting Month to promote our great hobby.  Each year from 1981 to 1984, the USPS issued a special Souvenir Card for National Stamp Collecting Month:

1981 – Pictures US #245, the $5 Columbian, and #1918, the 1981 “Benefiting Mankind” stamp from that year’s Space Achievement issue. 

1982 – Pictures US #C3a, the legendary Inverted Jenny.

1983 – Pictures US #293, the Mississippi River Bridge from the Trans-Mississippi Exposition. 

1984 – Pictures US #2104, the Family Unity stamp.
