Special Collector's Set Honors the Memory of President George H.W. Bush

Now you can own two covers, a souvenir sheet, and a Presidential $1 coin (enhanced by Mystic) celebrating the life and accomplishments of President George H.W. Bush.  You'll receive an Inauguration Day special event cover postmarked January 20, 1981, for Bush's first term plus another Inaguration Day cover postmarked January 21, 1985 for his second term. 

The Presidential $1 coin program did not include living presidents when it was created, so President H.W. Bush was left out of the series.  Mystic decided to create a companion coin to the program by enhancing a Presidential $1 coin with Bush's portrait.  It's a nice stand-in considering Congress is unlikely to amend the act that created the original coin program to include more recent presidents.

The mint souvenir sheet was issued by Liberia and includes a large stamp picturing President George H.W. Bush with in front of the American flag.  The presidential seal and an image of the White House are in the background.
