The Blue Hawaii soundtrack album spent a total of 79 weeks on the charts, including 20 consecutive weeks on the #1 spot of the Billboard Top LP’s chart in 1961-62.  It was a record that went unbroken until 1977 by Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors album.
