January 25, 1982 marked the start of the Year of the Dog in the Chinese Lunar Calendar.  To honor the event, Redonda issued this fun set of six Christmas stamps featuring scenes from One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Released in 1961, One Hundred and One Dalmatians was Disney's 17th full-length animated feature film.  It was the first Disney animated feature to take place in the year it was made, while previous movies were set in earlier years or in fantasy worlds.
