Mickey and Minnie visit the Sears Tower

In 1991 Bhutan issued several souvenir sheets picturing Mickey and his pals exploring some of the world's wonders.  The sheet offered here pictures Mickey and Minnie driving past the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois.  When it was completed in 1973, it was the tallest building in the world at 1,451 feet.  Though it lost that rank after 25 years, today it's the second-tallest building in the U.S. and the eighth-tallest freestanding structure in the world.  Though it was renamed the Willis Tower in 2009, it's often still commonly referred to as the Sears Tower.
