This fun set of nine 1993 Gambia stamps features scenes from the Disney short Casey at the Bat.  Based on an 1888 poem by Ernest Thayer, the Disney cartoon was initially released as part of the 10-segment anthology Make Mine Music.  It was narrated by comedian and musician Jerry Colonna and later released as an individual short in 1954. 

These fun stamps tell the tale of the Mighty Casey, who is so overconfident in his skills, he ultimately strikes out, disappointing his fans and team.
