Issued in 1997, this fun sheet of nine Gambia stamps honors Mickey's leading lady, Minnie Mouse.  Minnie made her first appearance at the same time as Mickey, in the 1928 short, Steamboat Willie.  Her full name, Minerva Mouse, hasn't been used much since it was first introduced in 1942.
