To mark the 1988 SYDPEX (Sydney Philatelic Exhibition), Grenada issued this fun set of eight stamps featuring Mickey and his friends with the wildlife of Australia.  Pictured are the koala, tasmanian wolf, wallaby, kangaroo, emu-wren, wombat, platypus, and kookaburra.

These stamps also commemorate Mickey's 60th anniversary.  Since his debut in the short film Steamboat Willie in 1928, Mickey has become one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in the world.
