Star Trek Gold Key Comics
Gold Key was the first company to produce Star Trek comic books. For fans of the 1966 television series, these comics were a way to go on more adventures with their favorite characters anytime they wanted. Between 1967 and 1978, Gold Key printed 61 Star Trek comics. Some of the covers featured photos from the television series and others featured dramatic original art.
Many of these comics are hard to find today – some sell for hundreds or thousands of dollars! But you can own stamps picturing some of their exciting covers. This sheet of six mint stamps pictures:
