Agenda 21 addresses the environmental problems facing our world with 2,500 recommendations for action. These proposals contain details on: how to combat poverty and change patterns of production and consumption; demographic dynamics; conserving and managing our natural resources; protecting the atmosphere; oceans and biodiversity; preventing deforestation; and promoting sustainable agriculture, among others.
