This stamp was another in a long-running series of definitives that showed the American flag waving over a national landmark. Located in South Dakota, at the foot of the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore is crowned by gigantic carvings the the heads of four U.S. Presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
