Most outdoor activities are performed to relax and get some exercise. However, some require a bit more skill and are designed with thrill seekers in mind. Mountain biking is one such activity.
Mountain biking can range from cross-country, trail-riding, all-mountain, downhill, freeride, and dirt-jumping styles. Whichever style riders choose, each demands a high level of physical fitness and bike-handling skills. Often times, mountain bikers ride in remote areas. Since mountain biking has become more popular in recent years, many tourist destinations have added attractions for riders.
