The Traditional Christmas issue features the Madonna and Child from a large painting by the Italian Renaissance artist, Giovanni Battista Moroni.  Named “A Gentleman in Adoration Before the Badona, the 1560 painting is part of the collection at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
  
This Contemporary stamp, picturing glass ornaments on a pine bough, was the first U.S. stamp to have First Day ceremonies at Disneyland, in Anaheim, California.
