Mint Stamp Sheet Honors China’s Longest Space Mission

In the fall of 2016, China staged two important launches into space.  In September, they sent the Tiangong-2 space laboratory and in October they launched the Shenzhou-11 manned spaceflight.  On October 19, the Shenzhou docked with the Tiangong and the two-man crew began their 30-day mission.  During their month in space, the two astronauts, Chen Dong and Jing Halpeng gave themselves ultrasounds to study their bodies’ performance in space.  They also experimented with planting rice and cress.  They returned to earth on November 18.

This mint sheet pictures both astronauts as well as the Shenzhou-11 and Tiangong-2.  Make this historic mission part of your collection – order today.
