Special design details:
The trident found in the corners of the stamps has been Ukraine’s coat of arms for over 1,000 years. Use of the trident was banned during the reign of the Soviet Union. The lower right-hand corner of the block is imprinted with the logo of Ukraine’s State Postal Service – Ukrposhta.
 
History the Stamps Represent:
In February 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine formed volunteer assault brigades called the "Offensive Guard" within the National Guard, National Police, and State Border Service. The purpose of the Offensive Guard is to liberate the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Although mostly consisting of active-duty policemen and military personnel, citizen volunteers are encouraged to join their ranks.
 
Continuing the series “Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!” issued by Ukraine in 2022. This postal set features postage stamps portraying members from the National Guard, State Border Guard Service, and National Police of Ukraine. These stamps are a tribute to the defenders of Ukraine and honor those who sacrificed their lives in defense of Ukrainian independence.
