Get the 2019 UN Endangered Species Stamps Issued by the New York Office

The United Nations Postal Administration has been honoring endangered species on stamps for decades.  In 2019, each United Nations office released four different designs.  These included:  the hawksbill turtle, queen conch, mushroom coral, humpback whale, common seahorse, dugong, smooth cauliflower coral, porbeagle shark, European eel, leatherback turtle, staghorn coral, and beluga sturgeon.

All the creatures pictured on the 2019 Endangered Species stamps call the Earth's oceans their home.  With global warming, rising sea levels and temperatures, and pollution, each of them is at risk.  These stamps are the United Nations' way of raising awareness of these obstacles and encouraging countries around the world to take action, educate their citizens, and fight to save our planet and all the species that call it home.
