Get the 2003 Proof Set –
Including Sacagawea Dollar and 50 States Quarters

This set includes the Sacagawea dollar and the fifth set of five quarters from the 50 States Program.  The program honors different states on the reverse (tails) side of the Washinton quarter.  The quarters were issued in the order the states joined the Union.

This Proof set also contains the four other denominations produced in 2003.  All the proof coins were manufactured at the San Francisco Mint.  The small “S” mintmark can be found on each coin.

Proof coin sets are produced by the US mint in San Francisco using a process that brings out the beauty of each coin’s design.  The dies and planchets (the metal disks that will become coins) are polished before the coin is struck.  This gives the fields (blank areas) a mirrored look and the image a frosted effect.  Proof coins are struck twice, giving the coin a sharper design and rims.  The proof sets are packaged at the mint and display America’s coins at their best.  Each set is only produced for one year, so the supply is limited.

This set contains these Proof coins:

1 Sacagawea Dollar
1 Kennedy Half Dollar
5 Washington Quarters (honoring the states of Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri, Arkansas)
1 Roosevelt Dime
1 Jefferson Nickel
1 Lincoln Cent

The 2003 Proof Set deserves a home equal to the coins’ beauty.  The strong plastic display cases are just that home.  The coins are arranged on patriotic blue backgrounds and sealed in attractive cases to keep dust, fingerprints, and moisture from dulling the brilliant finish of these Proof coins.  A Certificate of Authenticity is also included.

Year Issued:  2003
Face Value:  $2.91
Mintage: 2,178,684

Now is the perfect time to add this 2003 Proof Set to your collection.  This set has been preserved for decades and still highlights the beauty of America’s coins.  Order yours today.
