Elvis won his second Grammy, for the album He Touched Me, his 17th studio album. He won the Gospel category’s Best Inspirational Performance award. 

Elvis recorded the album between March and June 1971 before it was released in April the following year. It was his third and final studio gospel album. The album would eventually be certified gold in 1992 and platinum in 1999.
