On July 28, 1991, the Montreal Expos faced the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in LA.  Expos pitcher Dennis Martinez stunned and thrilled fans by pitching the 13th perfect game in history!  (A perfect game is one in which no opposing players reach base by any means.)  Born in Granada, Nicaragua, Martinez was the first pitcher born outside the US to throw a perfect game.  Interestingly, it was in this same stadium that Sandy Koufax threw a perfect game in 1965, making Dodgers Stadium the first to be home to two perfect games.
