This cover commemorates the bicentennial of the date Alexander Hamilton became General George Washington's aide to camp.  On March 1, 1777, Hamilton joined Washington at the 1st Morristown Encampment in New Jersey and remained his aide for four years.  The cover was postmarked at Morristown and is part of the New Jersey Bicentennial Series of covers.  Add it to your US history collection today.
