Elvis Established His Own Football Team
Elvis formed his football team, E.P. Enterprises. Elvis had always enjoyed playing football, so in 1962, he got some friends together and started his own team. Elvis played on the team along with some members of his entourage.
Though people expected the opposing teams would take it easy on the star, he and his team often left the field with torn clothes and covered in mud. The games were often held in public parks, but they also played at the Los Angeles Valley College. Among the people they played against were other people from the nearby movie studios.
