With one easy order, you can own the complete 1986 U.N. Philately mint stamp set.  This special set includes two stamps from each of the offices in New York, Geneva, and Vienna.  Designed by famous artist Czeslaw Slania, the stamps of this issue picture the 1954 Stamp of Human Rights as well as a collector examining stamps and other past U.N. issues.

Since its origin in 1840, the postage stamp has been the means of collecting revenue for the prepayment of postage. It was not long after its introduction that the hobby of stamp collecting began. Stamp collecting has grown in popularity until it is truly an international hobby.

United Nations stamps, first issued in 1951, are linked to United Nations responsibilities, challenges, and achievements which are international in scope. This was the first time a United Nations stamp issue had been designed, engraved, and printed in Sweden.
