On the first day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the warship Moskva demanded the surrender of Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island.  Instead, they gave the ship the middle finger.  Their spunk inspired Ukraine and the rest of us.

Stamps have long been used for patriotic messaging.  Ukraine jumped on the opportunity and issued two stamps showing a soldier, standing on Snake Island, saying, “Russian warship, go f*** yourself.”  The stamps proved a brilliant move – they quickly sold out, captured loads of media attention, and raised $135,000 for Ukraine’s Army.  They later followed up with a stamp with the warship missing titled "Russian warship, DONE!" as Ukraine forces successfully eliminated the warship.

Mystic was lucky enough to get our hands on a small number of these historic stamps on First Day Cover, so this is your chance to get one in your collection.  Cover includes First Day of Issue pictorial postmark showing the sinking warship Moskva, black and white cachet of the "Done" design, and historical information on the back in both English and Ukrainian.
