The 25¢ U.S. issue pictures the Grand Canyon, not as it is today, but as it might have looked almost 500 years ago. Erosion and time have left their mark on the Canyon, but it's still "grand!"
The airmail stamp features a Caribbean island beach like that discovered by Columbus.
