National Park Quarters

From 2010-2021, the US Mint issued 56 coins as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program (sometimes called National Parks Quarters).  The "tails" designs picture a national park or other national site for every US state and territory, including the District of Columbia.  The US Mint released five new Quarter designs in teh program each year, with the exception of 2021 (only one design was created).  The site pictured on each coin was chosen through consultation with the governor or other leader of each state or territory along with former Secretary of the Interior Kenneth Salazar.
