Only 2 Known Examples of the 15¢ Lincoln Z Grill Exist Today – And They Rarely Come Up For Sale

           On July 10, 2019, one of the only two known examples of US #85F was sold for $1.4 million by Cherrystone Philatelic Auctioneers in New York City.  With the 15% buyer's premium, the rare stamp (last sold in 1975) ultimately sold for $1,610,000 – a new record for a single US stamp.  The only other US #85F known was owned by William H. Gross as of 2019.
