 Cover Honors Trucking Industry with Norman Rockwell Painting

This cover commemorates the "Knights of the Road," America's truckers.  The stamp (US #1025) was issued in 1953 to mark 50 years of the Trucking Industry.  The cachet shows Norman Rockwell's painting, "Roadblock," which appeared on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post in 1949.  The cover has a Los Angeles postmark, the site of the issuing city of the Trucking Industry stamp.
