Elvis had bought the motorcycle earlier that year for $1,143 from the Memphis Harley-Davidson Company. The 1956 Model KH is perhaps the most pictured of his many motorcycles over the years. Elvis was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and was pictured on his KH on the cover of The Enthusiast magazine published by Harley-Davidson.
