Only 2 Sets Available!

Minted in 1983, these 90% silver uncirculated coins celebrated the 1984 Olympic Games held in Los Angeles, California.  They all have the same design.  On the front, a discus thrower and star appear to be in motion.  On the back, a distinguished bald eagle.  There’s one main difference between these coins – they were all produced by different mints.  Below the “1983” inscription, you can see the different mint marks for Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.  The Denver and San Francisco coins were produced in smaller numbers than the Philadelphia coins, and were only available in a set of three.  So this is a great time to secure them all in your collection in one easy order.

Plus, this was the first commemorative silver dollar minted since 1900.  The US halted commemorative coin production altogether in the 1950s and was finally re-started in the 1980s.  These coins marked the start of the modern era of silver dollar commemorative coins, which have become a staple of the US Mint’s coin program.

A great addition to your coin or Olympics collection – order now.
