Welcoming the Royal Baby; Papua New Guinea Souvenir Sheet

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have their third child

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, Prince Louis Arthur Charles, the morning of April 23, 2018.

To commemorate the birth of the royal baby, the Marshall Islands, Nevis, Liberia, Papua New Guinea, and Palau all released a souvenir sheet to make a special series. All include illustrations from Beatrix Potter, a famous English artist best known for her children’s books featuring animals, such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit and many others. The sheets also display the 2011 Combined Coat of Arms insignia.

This sheet from Papua New Guinea features four stamps. The stamps highlight all of the Duke and Duchess’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and of course their newborn, Prince Louis.
