Ukraine Commemorative Stamp Sheet — Third Anniversary of the Russian Invasion
This stamp sheet was issued by Ukrposhta on February 25, 2025, to mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which began in February 2022.
The issue was produced in cooperation with the International Center for Ukrainian Victory and the Anti-Corruption Center, and reflects how Ukraine has used contemporary stamp design to document and respond to the ongoing conflict. The stamps use short phrases, symbolic imagery, and historical map references to address themes of war responsibility, territorial history, and post-imperial change.
Each sheet contains 9 stamps drawn from six different designs. Some designs appear once per sheet, while others appear twice, resulting in mixed combinations.
Modern issues such as this continue a long tradition of wartime and political philately, in which postage stamps serve not only as payment for mail but also as historical documents reflecting national perspective during significant events.
