Souvenir Pages – a Neat Addition to Your Collection

Souvenir Pages are a unique way to collect US stamps. Each Page includes the stamp cancelled on the First Day of Issue, along with information about the first day city, designer, printer, and more. You’ll also find background information about the stamp. The pages are printed on tinted paper measuring 8” X 10 ½”, many with watermarks. Souvenir Pages issued since 1988 have a number in the lower right corner showing the issue year and issue number. For example, the set I looked at included a 1960s Celebrate the Century sheet with the page number 9933 (the 33rd stamp issue of 1999).
Contents will vary, but the set I looked at also contains two $5 stamp and three stamp sheets in addition to the Celebrate the Century sheet.
