Launched on August 10, 2001, STS-105 was Discovery’s last mission until July 2005.  The main purposes of the mission were to bring a replacement crew to the International Space Station to relieve those who had been there for a while.  The mission used the Leonardo, a Multipurpose Logistics Module built by the Italian Space Agency, to carry supplies for the ISS.  The astronauts also performed two spacewalks and conducted scientific experiments.  The mission ended on August 22 with a successful landing at the Kennedy Space Center.
