STS-115 Medallic Cover

Produced by Colorano, this cover honors Space Shuttle Atlantis’s 27th mission, STS-115.  It features the launch of the space shuttle, along with an official mission medal.

STS-115 was the first assembly mission to the International Space Station after the Columbia disaster.  It was launched on September 9, 2006, and returned to Earth on September 21.  It carried a truss segment for the International Space Station along with solar arrays and batteries.
