Produced by Colorano, this cover honors the flight of the 26th mission of the Space Shuttle Discover, STS-95 (the 94th mission of the Space Shuttle program).  The cachet pictures the launch of the Space Shuttle, and the postmark features the launch date of the mission.

Launched on May 27, 1999, STS-96 lasted nine days, returning June 6.  The crew included a Russian cosmonaut and an astronaut from the Canadian Space Agency.  The shuttle made the first docking to the International Space Station.  After five days at the station, the crew boarded Discovery again for its return flight to Earth.
