     Small but choice France collection of mostly early used stamps 1853 through 1900.  Includes some mint and used through 1980s.  250+ stamps offered at a fraction of Scott Catalogue. Neatly displayed in stock book by collector. 

* Scarce used early 1850s through 1900s:  Ceres, Napoleon III – 2nd Empire – #37 with cool star postmark (repaired), 3rd Republic, Type Sage, Sower. 

* Modern stamps:  several nice-quality 1950s through 1980s engraved commemoratives including 1982 mint souvenir sheet of two designed by Jean Cocteau.   

* Back-of-the-book material:  quite a few mint semi-postals, including #B44 Statue of Liberty with surtax aiding political refugees; four 1946 mint stamps issued in Libya under French Occupation for use in Fezzan-Ghadames; N25-26 mint German Occupation stamps surcharged for use in France during WWI.
